Each journal issue contains abstracts of recent papers in a particular area of legal scholarship, and is delivered to you in the form of an email message. Each journal is edited by a law professor with expertise in the field covered by the journal. Each abstract is accompanied by an email address for the author, whom you can contact to obtain a full copy of any paper you are interested in, and often a web site address from which the paper can be downloaded free of charge. Journal frequency is usually weekly or biweekly, depending on the journal.
Some documents available on the LSN are outside the scope of our subscription. "In addition, subscribers have access to working papers published by organizations in partnership with SSRN, including NBER, CEPR, and EBRI which are downloadable for a fee. Since SSRN has to pay these organizations when their documents are downloaded we cannot provide them to our subscribers, including our site license subscribers, for free. Those included under NBER site licenses (which includes many major universities) may download the NBER papers at no extra cost. More information about these fee-based downloads is available at http://www.ssrn.com/update/general/partners.html
