You should have received 4 seperate emails with attachments Part 1, 2A, 2B and Part 3

There are hard copies of the Attachments on the Table outside the Faculty Support Center

Dear Class:

Attached please find part 1 of the reading assignment for our first class, Monday, May 21. You will be receiving two separate emails that contain parts 2 and 3 of the reading assignment. (The pdfs were too big to send in one email.) Please read all three parts for Monday. In addition to e-mailing you the pdfs, I have arranged for the assignment (all three parts) to be printed out and placed outside the faculty resource center. I will have the reading assignments for the rest of the week ready for you in class on Monday.

As for Monday's assignment:

Please read: the above-the-line portion of sections 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 1.16, 4.1, 4.2, and 14.1 of Stern & Gressman, and the three-page handout, "Five Ways to Write Like John Roberts." Please skim: sections 1.5, and 1.6, and the footnotes of the sections listed above.

Please let me know if you have any questions, or if you have any trouble opening the attached file. I look forward to seeing you on Monday.

All the best,

Jamie
