David Gay

International and Comparative/Government Information Law Librarian (631-3545) MLIC 1310

David Gay joined the staff on Sept. 4, 2001. He came here as International and Comparative Law Librarian and has since taken over government documents and microforms. He serves as the primary liaison to LEXIS and Westlaw. An important aspect of David's position is his role as the International and Comparative Law Librarian

He is a front line resource for anyone researching in this area, particularly our own Tulsa Journal of Comparative and International Law. David also provides support for the Comparative and Interantional Law Center's overseas programs.

David moved here from Fayetteville, Arkansas where, for eight years he was a law librarian at the University of Arkansas School of Law. Most recently, he was Head of Public Services there, coordinating reference, circulation, documents, and teaching both electronic and print resources. He also held library positions with responsibilities in government documents (including two patent and trademark depository libraries) and business resources at Texas A&M University, LSU, a law firm in New Orleans and New Orleans Public LIbrary. David's B.A. is in Political Science/Sociology from the University of Texas at Arlington and his M.L.I.S. is from the University of Texas at Austin.
