Courtney Selby

Courtney Selby is the Collection Development/Instructional Services Law Librarian for the Mabee Legal Information Center at the Univ. of Tulsa College of Law, and part of the Legal Research Teaching Team. Additionally, she teaches Advanced Legal Research. She received a B.A. (Sociology)in 1997 from the University of Tulsa, a J.D. in 2001 from the University of Tulsa College of Law, and her Master's in Library and Information Studies at the University of Oklahoma in 2004.
Courtney is actively involved in the American Association of Law Libraries and is a member of both the Social Responsibilities and Academic Law Libraries Special Interest Sections. She is a member of the ALL-SIS Collection Development Committee and SR-SIS Standing Committee on Lesbian and Gay Issues, and is the chair elect of that committe for the 2006-2007 year. Additionally, she was the 2005 recipient of the Alan Holoch Memorial Grant.
Courtney is also the author of two pathfinders on the MLIC website, Immigration Law, and Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity & the Law.
