Every Spring, the TU College of Law runs an intramural Native American Law Moot Court Competition. The intramural is a joint project of the TU Board of Advcates and the Native American Law Center. Competitors serve as appellate attorneys arguing an Indian law case either to a tribal supreme court or the U.S. Supreme Court. All law students at TU are eligible to compete in the competition.

In addition to the prizes for performance at the intramural itself, the intramural competition is also the way to qualify to represent TU at the annual National NALSA Moot Court Competition. TU usually sends two teams (a total of four students) to the competition each year.

In 1993, a TU team won the national competition and in 2006, a TU team took third place overall in the competition; in 1996, 1997, and 2003, a TU team member won an oralist award. TU has also advanced out of the preliminary rounds and into the elimination rounds on several occasions. Although only J.D. students are eligible for the national team, both J.D. and LL.M. students can compete in TU's annual intramural Native American Law Moot Court Competition.
