The cost of the four week 2008 Dublin program is $4800. See the estimated student budget.
Program costs include:
- Maximum six hours ABA approved law school credits in four week program.
- Lodging at University College Dublin.
- Access to library, computers, and Internet.
- Field trips to courts, government offices, law firms, and multinational corporations.
- Enrichment lectures by prominent lawyers, politicians, and business people .
- Optional long weekend excursion to Western Ireland countryside (supplement required).
- Optional field trip to an Irish pub for evening of Irish music and dancing and a trip to Glendalough, the site of ancient monasteries (supplement required).
Students are responsible for most meals, all travel and transportation (other than field trips, and excursions), and all incidental costs while in Dublin.
We will provide students with a summary of estimated expenses for the trip and students should plan to budget for such expenses.
Students are required to purchase the University of Tulsa's study abroad health insurance coverage for overseas travel. The health insurance coverage is comprehensive and includes medical evacuation and repatriation. You are required to purchase this insurance even if you have full medical coverage with another provider. You will not be accepted into the program without purchase of this insurance. Cost of this insurance is very affordable.
Financial aid in the form of private loans through private providers such as Law Loans or Law Access may be available to U.S. citizens attending American Law Schools. Tulsa Law students should apply for those loans through the University of Tulsa's Financial Aid Office.
Non-Tulsa students should apply for loans through their home schools. Non-U.S. students should contact organizations in their home countries to inquire about the possibility of financial assistance. Students interested in financial aid should contact their respective financial aid offices well before the application deadline to ensure timely availability of funds.
Non-Tulsa students participating in financial aid must have their school's financial aid office send the University of Tulsa a consortium agreement.
