Course Description
Law-5623 Energy Policy: 3 hours
Course learning objectives include: Understanding the sources and uses of energy, how economic instruments can be used to address externalities from the energy sector, analyzing the validity of peak oil theories and their implications for energy policy, learning how to model the life cycle energy content of modern goods and services, and estimating demand responses to higher energy prices. The learning objectives for the course also include policy analysis in MS Excel to make students competitive for energy sector employment and academic research.
