    Student Employment Information


    A number of students work part-time in a legal job during the school year. Jobs are posted on our website - (please click here), emailed to our Student Jobs List and posted in the law school across from the student dropfiles.

    During their first summer, law students typically do the following:

  • Work
  • Participate in a judicial internship
  • Participate in a clinic
  • Study abroad
  • Attend summer school

  • Passing Percentage for First Time Takers: 93%


    The Career Services Office:

  • Assists students with cover letter and resume writing
  • Hones students’ interviewing skills
  • Educates students on researching employers, networking, types of jobs and
  • practice areas within the legal field as well as “alternative careers”
  • Provides one on one career counseling to students
  • Posts job listings for students
  • Conducts the On Campus Interviewing program
